These are the terms for preparing and hosting an enhanced Artist profile. Your application does not start this service contract or authorise payment.
A separate, optional service
Best DJ, operated by Hakan Nurhak, offers an enhanced Artist profile for £49 per year. Applying, joining the basic roster and being considered for bookings remain free. Buying this service is not a condition of Best DJ finding work for you and does not improve booking priority or guarantee bookings. The 10% commission on work introduced and arranged by Best DJ is a separate arrangement.
What your £49 includes
Preparation of your Artist biography from the information you supply; presentation of your authorised portrait and music links; an enhanced profile at best-dj.uk/your-artist-name; a YouTube performance video and Spotify player where suitable official links are supplied; 12 months of hosting from the agreed publication date; and up to two reasonable profile-content updates during that period. The profile uses the Best DJ design and remains part of our site. Recording, photography, paid advertising and social campaigns are not included.
Agreement and approval before publication
Selecting the option on the application form only requests information; it is not a paid order or permission to charge you. After review, we provide a separate written service agreement identifying you, the scope, total annual fee, contract start date, proposed publication date and hosting period. You must agree that document before work starts. We show you the biography, images and embedded media before publication. You have at least seven days to object, and we address any reasonable requirements before using the materials or charging.
Thirty days to cancel without a fee
You can cancel or withdraw from this optional service within 30 days of the service contract starting, without penalty or payment. No fee is charged or collected before those 30 days have elapsed. Charging must also wait until your seven-day material-review period has elapsed and any reasonable requirements have been addressed, whichever is later. Cancellation or non-purchase of this service does not remove your eligibility for booking consideration.
Hosting, payment and renewal
The £49 annual fee and payment date are confirmed in the separate written agreement. Hosting lasts 12 months from the agreed publication date. There is no automatic renewal or recurring card charge: we contact you before the hosting period ends and renewal requires your agreement. Tell us at any time if you do not want to renew. Any request to remove your enhanced profile is discussed with you; the terms of already confirmed bookings remain separate.
Publication and your refund rights
You are entitled to a refund if paid promotional information is not made available to potential hirers within 60 days of payment. These terms do not reduce any other applicable statutory rights. If approved media cannot be embedded because of provider restrictions, we discuss a suitable alternative with you before publication.
Your materials and your independence
You keep your music and image rights. Supply only materials you own or are authorised to use, and approve how we present them. YouTube and Spotify handle playback under their own policies. You remain independent and non-exclusive and can use other agencies or arrange your own work.
