Choose the feeling before the playlist

Describe the kind of celebration you have in mind. Is the evening built around familiar dancefloor favourites, house and dance music, or a mixture of styles? Share the songs that matter to you, the tracks you would prefer to avoid and the age range of your guests.

Hakan is an open-format DJ based in Lincoln. His approach is to read the room and build the energy gradually. Listen to his published mixes and discuss your brief before deciding whether his musical style suits your wedding.

Make the important moments clear

Include your first dance, planned entrances, speeches and any announcements that need music or a microphone. If several suppliers are involved, tell us who is coordinating the timings so the performance can fit the wider schedule.

The date, venue, guest numbers, expected set duration and budget are useful starting points. If you are still choosing a venue or timetable, say so: an initial enquiry can begin a conversation, but it does not hold a date.

Agree sound, lighting and setup

Equipment is assessed for each venue and artist. Tell us whether the reception space already has a sound system, where the DJ will perform and whether you need lighting or microphones. Access, setup time, parking and venue sound limits should be discussed before confirmation.

You receive a tailored discussion of availability and requirements. The artist, total fee, travel, deposit, payment dates and cancellation terms are agreed in writing. With our head office in Lincoln, we welcome wedding enquiries nationwide. Travel, availability and suitability are checked individually.
